Did you know at SkyMedia we have our Working With Children Check clearance?

Many of our videos recently have been at Kindergartens, Schools and at live events, so it’s important we can demonstrate to our clients, that not only are we a licenced drone operator, we also hold our Working With Children Check clearance.

We can also advise schools and organisations on obtaining parents’/guardians’ permission to allow their child to be photographed or filmed, and for the photographs or film to be published.

If you’re looking for a video production company to produce a video featuring children, it’s essential the operators have Working With Children Check clearance.

This check involves a national criminal history check and a review of findings of workplace misconduct. Following the check, clearance is granted to work with children for five years. Cleared applicants are subject to ongoing monitoring throughout this five year term.

So before awarding a job to a drone or video production company, as well as ensuring the operator is licenced, make sure you ask to see their Working With Children Check too!
